BROADCAST –BAND REJECTION FILTER
Model BCBF-100
This high performance filter is designed especially when Broadcast Band (BCB) overloaded shortwave or Ham frequencies, or where spurious BCB signals appear. This is due to inadequate front-end selectivity or poorly RF amplifier
The BCB rejection filter is inserted between the antenna and the receiver. It is designed to perform as a receive only filter. BCB signal below 1.8 MHz is attenuated by more than 58 dB Signals above 1.75 MHz pass with .08 dB of attenuation. Input/output Impedance: 50 ohms
The BCB Rejection Filter is housed in a aluminum box. Input and output connectors are silver plated SO-239. Different input/output connectors are available upon request for a minimal charge. The input is protected from static and overloaded signal with diode discharge. No power is required. Jumper cable is included with 2 PL-259 connector.
Specifications:
· Input/Output Impedance: 50 ohms
· Passband insertion loss @ 4.0 MHz: -0.5 dB
· -60 dB attenuation point: 1.22 MHz
Signals below 1.2 MHz are attenuated 60 dB
· Static protection is provide on the input.
